Five people were killed in a mass shooting at a Maryland newspaper Thursday. According to authorities the attack took place at the Capital Gazette in Annapolis Maryland and the shooter did not target any individual employee, just the paper as a whole. Several outlets have reported the suspect is Jarrod Warren Ramos, a late 30’s white man who had a history of complaints against the paper. Ramos used smoke grenades and a shotgun to carry out his attack until police were able to arrive and apprehend the suspect. President Donald Trump tweeted thanks to the first responders in this case and sent his thoughts and prayers to the victims.
