The Billie Sutton for governor campaign has released a new poll showing the Democrat with a three point lead over his opponent Kristi Noem. The poll shows Sutton with a 45-42 point advantage. The poll was conducted by a Democratic firm used by the Obama campaign in 2008 and 2012.
"We’ve felt the energy in this race as Republicans, Independents, and Democrats alike tell me they’re frustrated with the stale and complacent culture in state government and are ready to end politics as usual." Said Sutton. "This race is about working together to clean up state government, creating economic opportunities, and building a stronger South Dakota, and that message is resonating with folks across the state and across the political spectrum.”
