A Fargo man has been acquitted of conspiracy to commit murder following a trial and jury deliberation for nine hours. William Hoehn was charged with conspiracy in the death of 22-year-old Savanna Greywind in August of 2017. Greywind was eight months pregnant at the time, when prosecutors say Hoehn’s girlfriend Brooke Crews kidnapped her, killed her and tried to steal the baby. Hoehn has already pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit kidnapping as well as giving false information to police as he tried to help Crews cover up the murder. He could spend the next 21 years in prison, while Crews is already serving a life sentence.
