A gunman opened fire on a Southern California bar Wednesday night leaving 13 people dead. According to reports included in the 13 killed was the shooter himself, but police at this point are not sure how he died. At least 12 other people were injured in the shooting as well. The bar was busy as it celebrated “college night” and welcomed anyone 18 years or older. Among the dead includes a Ventura county California sheriff deputy. That was 29-year deputy Sgt. Ron Helus.
