An Aberdeen man has been convicted of felony aggravated assault and drug possession. According to the Associated Press, 23-year-old Ehkhu Poe was involved in an incident in 2016 where he was shot twice by officers after Poe had threatened some of his family members and charged at police with a knife. A State DCI investigation into the shooting determined the officers were justified in their actions. Poe pleaded not guilty but was convicted Tuesday with a sentencing date to be announced later this year. He could face up to 30 years in prison.
