The Minnesota Twins have relieved manager Paul Molitor of his duties following the team’s season coming to an end last week.  Molitor had two years left on his contract and is expected to remain with the team in some other capacity.  Molitor spent four seasons in charge of the Twins, accumulating a record of 305-343 over that time.  He was named AL manager of the year in 2016, turning a team around to a record of 85-77 after losing 103 games the previous year.
