The Aberdeen City Council at its regular Monday meeting passed the final approval of a new pet policy for fostering excess pets.
Currently Aberdeen residents are allowed four pets in a home, no more than three dogs.
Under this new policy, residents could foster an animal for a total of five pets no more than four dogs. Residents could foster these animals for a maximum of 90 days in a quarter, three quarters of the year. Aberdeen city attorney Ron Wager explained…
