Police in Aberdeen have made an arrest in an apparent stabbing which took place Sunday. According to police, officers were called to the 600 block of South Grand Street for a reported stabbing. Upon arrival, officers found both the suspect and victim in the case. A 52-year-old female was transported to Avera hospital for stab wounds to her legs, hands, arms, back and torso. Police say the victim is expected to make a full recovery. Taken in to custody was a 53-year-old man who is facing felony assault charges. The identity of the victim was not released. Police say the victim and suspect knew one another.
