Aberdeen Central wins Region 3A championship

The high school region wrestling championships took place over the weekend across the state. In Class A Aberdeen Central won the region championship. It was Centra’s first region championship since 2015. Aberdeen wrestlers who qualified for the state tournament include at 106lbs Esten Foss who won the region championship, at 113lbs Paxton Ewing, at 120lbs. Porter Lozenski who won the region championship, at 126lbs. Rayden Zens who won the region championship, at 132lbs. Tate Huff, at 138lbs. Ridley Waldo, at 144lbs. Owen Ward, at 150lbs. Grayden Timm, at 157lbs. Mason Schrempp who won the region championship, at 165lbs. Elias Biegler, at 175lbs. Ryker Meister, at 190lbs. Cole Dunlavy, at 215 Ayden Gisi who won the region championship and at 285lbs. Bryce Beitelspacher.
