In other city news, the Council approved the surplus of Aberdeen police officer Angela Senger’s service pistol. This move will allow Senger to keep her weapon once she goes through the proper background checks necessary. Senger recently retired from the force after 24 years of service. She becomes the first female officer to retire from the Aberdeen Police Department.
The city approved the appointment of Taylor Armstrong to the Parks, Recreation and Forestry Board. He will take his spot on the board effective July 1st.
