Aberdeen City Council discusses potential rate increases for dozens of city services

The Aberdeen City Council at its regular meeting Monday discussed a host of issues regarding raising prices on a number of city services. According to City finance officer Jordan McQuillen, fees have not been increased since 2015. Some of those fees include ambulance services, building permits fence permits, swimming pool permits, demolition permits and parking tickets. The council approved the first reading. It will need final approval before being made policy.
