Aberdeen Fire and Rescue responded to a vehicle fire Thursday September 26th. According to a release from Fire and Rescue, crews responded to a call about the fire around 5:09 p.m. In the vicinity of 3rd avenue southeast and South Dakota Street. A large truck was on fire in the parking area of the Livestock Specialist Mill. Upon arrival crews say they saw smoke and fire coming from a large commercial bulk feed delivery truck. The fire was complicated due to additional bulk feed trucks parked on either side. Crews were able to contain the fire to the one truck, though adjacent trucks received some smoke and heath damage. Crews were on the scene for about 30 minutes. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
