Aberdeen Police Department reports talking tree at storybook land forest now fixed

The Aberdeen Police Department reports the talking tree in Storybook Land’s haunted forest has been repaired. The tree was damaged earlier this month. Police say tips from the community helped them identify and charge a suspect in this case. That suspect, who has not been identified by police has been charged with intentional damage. The police department gave credit to Jason’s Truck and Auto Body in Aberdeen for helping in the repairs of the tree. At the time of the vandalism, the Aberdeen Police Department estimated the cost of repairs to the talking tree would be about $10,000.
