Aberdeen police investigating vehicle thefts that occurred Tuesday night, Wednesday morning

The Aberdeen Police Department is investigating vehicle thefts that occurred between midnight ant 7:30 a.m. Wednesday morning in Aberdeen.

According to a post from the Police Department’s Facebook page, two of the vehicles stolen have been recovered, but were damaged in crashes.

The suspects also stole firearms.

The thefts occurred in the vicinity of the 900 block of 7^th avenue northeast, 1400 block of 8^th avenue northeast, 700 block of 23^rd avenue northeast and 4^th Curve.

Police are asking the public to check home surveillance cameras for any potential leads. Police also remind residents to lock their doors, do not leave keys in the vehicle, and remove valuables and firearms from the vehicle.
