Aberdeen police respond to shots fire this weekend

the Aberdeen Police Department has released details about an alleged shooting this weekend within the city. According to police, officers responded to the area of 6th avenue and south main street on reports of shots fired. Officers allege the suspect had been drinking at a bar, got into an altercation and fired shots as they left in their vehicle. The person believed to have fired the weapon has been identified as 20-year-old Nickel Channoi of Worthington Minnesota. He faces reckless discharge of a firearm, possession of a firearm while intoxicated, and underage possession and consumption of alcohol. No injuries were reported in this incident.
