Aberdeen School Board improves modest increase to school breakfast/lunch

The Aberdeen Public School Board at its regular meeting Monday approved a 5.5 percent increase in breakfast and lunch prices for the upcoming school year. The price for breakfast will increase 15 cents a meal while lunches will go up 20 center per meal. It is the second consecutive year prices have increased after about four years of remaining stagnant. Elementary breakfast will cost $2.55 and lunch will be $3.55 per meal, middle school will be $2.70 for breakfast and $3.70 for lunch and finally high school will be $2.90 for breakfast and $4 for lunch.
