The Aberdeen Wings have announced former head coach Scott Langer has been named head coach once again effective immediately. Langer coached the Wings from 2016 to 2021, winning a Robertson Cup championship in that time. He left the organization following the 2021 season and spent a year as the head coach of the Fargo Force of the USHL. He returned to Aberdeen ahead of the 2022-23 season and was named the team’s General Manager and President of Hockey Operations. He is currently the NAHL’s winngest head coach in league history with 637 career wins.
