An inmate died in the Jameson Annex of the South Dakota State Penitentiary Nov. 5th according to the Department of Corrections. 66-year-old Walter Duncan passed away while in the infirmary. The cause of death was not released. Duncan was serving a sentence out of Brown County for distribution of a controlled substance.
