The Aberdeen Police Department reports an arrest has been made involving the hit and run that injured two children, sending one of them to the hospital with serious injuries last Friday.
The identity of the suspect so far has not yet been released as the investigation remains ongoing.
The arrest stems from an incident around 8:27 p.m. Friday September 25th when children were crossing in the cross walk of the intersection of 6th avenue south east and South State Street.
A pickup truck failed to stop at a stop light and struck two of the children. The Aberdeen Police Department sought the public’s help in locating the vehicle and suspect in this case.
