A bench that went missing from the Brown County Fairgrounds has been returned by the person who stole it. According to a post on social media from Fair Board Manager Rachel Kippley, the bench was returned around 9:00 a.m. On Wednesday August 21st. The bench was taken from the Avera Kids Zone. While the person who stole the bench did not identify themselves, they did leave a message on the bench apologizing for taking it and saying they were quote “wildly drunk” when they did so.
