(WNAX – Yankton, SD) The South Dakota Board of Regents voted to create a new policy to better protect minors that visit one of the six state university campuses.
Board President Pam Roberts says the policy grew out of reaction to a “family friendly” drag show held at South Dakota State University…
The policy discussion was held in closed session. Roberts says that was done on the advice of their lawyers…
Roberts says they are directing their staff to take a more hands on role in on campus activities…
Roberts says it is a balance between student rights and the responsibilities of the Regents to taxpayers.
