(KWAT – Watertown, SD) A missing woman’s body was found this week in the Watertown area.
Details are limited at this time, but Tony Mangan, a spokesman for the South Dakota Attorney General’s office says the Department of Criminal Investigation and local authorities investigated.
He says an autopsy was completed Wednesday, and no injuries were noted. Mangan says, “it appears she died from hypothermia.”
Mangan says there are no concerns or threats to the general public.
He did not release the woman’s name.
KWAT News reached out to the Codington County Sheriff’s office for further information, but they have been unavailable for comment.
Mangan says the investigation continues.
