The Denver Broncos have come to terms with the New Orleans Saints to trade for the team’s head coach Sean Payton. Payton will become the 19th head coach in Broncos history. The Saints will receive the Broncos 2023 first round pick (29th overall) and 2024 second round pick in exchange for Payton and the Saints 2024 third round pick. The Broncos has traded their first round pick to Seattle for quarterback Russell Wilson, but got another first round pick back, the one they traded to New Orleans, when the team moved Bradley Chubb to Miami in November.
