Brown County Commission approves a plat for a housing development southwest of Aberdeen

The Brown County Commission at its regular meeting Tuesday approved a plat for the Howling Woods Subdivision, a housing development roughly near 1493 S. and 385^th avenue just southwest of Aberdeen. Several constituents raised concerns about the development including increase traffic on gravel township roads, dust, noise and more. A planned event center was denied a plat in almost the same area was rejected by the commission in 2018.
