The Brown County Landfill has announced the Spring free cleanup will be April 28th through May 13th. During that time the Landfill will waive fees do dump. All materials must be brought to the landfill during that time. Items include paint, trees, rubble, batteries, furniture, waste oil, antifreeze, appliances, scrap metal, electronics, propane tanks, grass and leaves and other miscellaneous waste. There is a limit of four car or pickup tires per person and all loads must be covered and secured. Landfill hours are Monday through Saturday 8 a.m. To 5:00 p.m.
