Brown County Commission approves speed reductions on four county road locations

The Brown County Commission at its regular meeting Tuesday gave final approval for a resolution to reduce speeds on four stretches of county roads.

The new speed limits will go into effect once new signage is posted along the roads. Speed reductions include a mile of county road 13E and 129^th street from US highway 281 east of Brown County Road 10 from 55 to 45.

Three miles along county road 14WA from county road 10 to county road 19 from 55 to 45.

The northern half mile of county road 19 and 390^th avenue from Aberdeen’s eighth avenue northeast north to county road 14 and 24^th avenue northeast from 45 to 40 miles per hour.

Finally a half mile of county road 15 and Aberdeen’s 24^th avenue northeast from county road 19 heading west from 55 to 45.
