Brown County Commission comes to terms on a deal to sell

The Brown County Commission announced Tuesday it has come to terms with Harris Machine Co. out of Oakes North Dakota to sell the former Hub City Inc. building originally planned on becoming a regional jail. The deal will see Harrs Machine pay $4 million for the building, but the county will lease the building to Harris for one dollar a month while some prep work is being completed. Harris originally offered $3.6 million, but soon brought on the Aberdeen Development Corp. to help up the deal by including 11 extra acres to allow for future expansion.
