The Brown County Commission voted to reject a bid from MEGA Contracting in Aberdeen to replace the roof of the Holum Expo Building on the Brown County Fairgrounds. The MEGA Contracting bid of $658,500 was the only bid for the project and according to Commission Chair Duane Sutton, it was too expensive. The Commission had set aside approximately $300,000 for the project. The county will again send out an RFP for the project.
