Brown County Emergency Management would like to remind Brown County residents that Brown County will be sounding the outdoor warning sirens as part of SD Severe Weather Awareness Week.
Outdoor sirens will be sounded at 10:30am on Wednesday April 19th. We also want to remind folks that these are “outdoor” warning sirens.
These are not designed for you to hear them inside a building. For indoor
warning alerts we suggest a NOAA all-hazard radio (weather radio).
