The Brown County Fair is in the black this year according to fairboard manager Rachel Kippley. Kippley spoke in front of the Brown County Commission Tuesday where she said the fair has so far taken in $1.42 million on a budget of $1.32 million…
Kippley went on to say most revenue numbers were up compared to 2022, including fair vendors, camping, midway carnival and more.
The only area the fair saw a real decrease was Friday night of the grandstands featuring Gary LeVox and Blanco Brown, which was down about $110,000 from Friday night entertainment in 2022. That was made up for though through other nights of entertainment.
