The Brown County Landfill has announced the annual free spring residential clean up will run April 26th through May 11th. There will be changes this year according to Landfill manager Mike Scott. Scott spoke to the Brown County Commission Tuesday, saying there will be just one drop site in Aberdeen accepting extra items and it will only be set up for a day. On April 27th from 8:00 a.m. To 5:00 p.m. Residents can drop off a host of items free of charge including batteries, furniture, appliances, electronics, scrap metal, rubble and up to four car or pickup tires. The drop site will be south of the White House Inn on South Fifth Street.
