The fall residential Brown County Cleanup begins today at the Brown County Landfill. The free cleanup runs until September 30th. During this time tipping fees at the landfill will be waived. The landfill is open 8 a.m. To 5:00 p.m. Monday through Saturday and will be open 8:00 a.m. To 5:00 p.m. On Labor Day. Items accepted include paint, trees, rubble, batteries, furniture, waste oil, electronics, appliances, scrap metal, propane tanks, grass, leaves and other miscellaneous waste. There is a limit of four car or pickup tires per load.
