The Brown County Landfill has announced new cameras are being planned for its two drop sites within Aberdeen. Landfill Manager Mike Scott told the Brown County Commission Tuesday the upgrades are expected to cost about $30,000 and are already in the landfill’s budget. The cameras are designed to help monitor the landfill dump cites at the Brown County Fairgrounds and Aberdeen Rural Fire Department. This will also help prevent illegal dumping and scavenging.
