The Center for Disease Control and Prevention has announced new reccomendations regarding COVID-19 vaccine boosters this coming fall. According to the new guidelines, Americasn older than six months should get an updated COVID-19 booster. In a statement about the decision, the CDC says we have more tools than ever to prevent the worst outcomes regarding COVID-19. The CDC goes on to say if you have been boosted in the past, that booster will weaken with time. Shots are expected to be affordable, but no longer free at the point of service as the Biden Administration has allowed the COVID-19 public health emergency to expire.
