City names Robin Bobzien as next city manager

Aberdeen City Engineer Robin Bobzien has been named the new Aberdeen City Manager following a lengthy executive session during the Aberdeen City Council meeting Monday. Bobzien will replace the outgoing Joe Gaa who has accepted a similar position in Marshalltown Iowa. Bobzien has served the city of Aberdeen as engineer for 29 years. Gaa’s last day with the city will be September 8^th while Bobzien is scheduled to assume his new role September 11^th.
