The City of Aberdeen has announced water restrictions the city put in in June have now been lifted. The restrictions were put in after a large water main break required repairs. Two large pumps used to move water between the water treatment plant and the city went down causing the city’s water system to struggle to keep up. The restrictions called for watering lawns on certain days depending on your address and no watering on Sunday. Residents however are asked to do heavy water usage tasks, such as watering lawns, washing vehicles or driveways or other surface before 11:00 a.m. And not until after 5:00 p.m.
