An inmate at the Codington County Detention Center has escaped after leaving the facility to go to a medical appointment, and then fleeing this morning.
The inmate is identified as 39 year-old Justin Taube (tawb) of Willmar, Minnesota.
He was in jail for Possession of a Controlled Substance.
