Comedian Bob Newhart passes away at 94

Comedian Bob Newhart passed away Thursday at the age of 94. Newhart was born in Oak Park Illinois and was known for his Deadpan style of comedy. He did a host of different things throughout his career including television, film stand up and more. He starred on the Bob Newhart Show from 1972 to 1978 before starring in the sitcom Newhart from 1982 to 1990. He had a career resurgence later in his life, staring in hit films such as Elf and as “Professor Proton” on the hit CBS sitcom “The Big Bang Theory.”
