(KORN – Mitchell, SD) The Corn Palace Stampede Rodeo Committee announced Monday the board of directors voted to cancel the 2023 Corn Palace Stampede Rodeo.
Chairman Jim Miskimins (mis-KIM-ins) says it’s the result of a court decision in favor of the rodeo committee….
However the committee is still determined to celebrate the 50-plus years of the rodeo through the Rodeo Parade, July 15th plus Family Fun Day and the Chili Cook-off at the new rodeo ground location, just north of the Pepsi Cola Soccer Complex west of the Mitchell Regional Airport.
