Part of the Dacotah Bank building in downtown Aberdeen has experienced a partial roof collapse. According to Dacotah Bank President Robert Fouberg, the roof in question is on one of the bank’s five buildings, the second-to-last building on the north end of the block. Preventative measures have been taken by the city to erect a temporary fence around the property as officials work to repair the damage. This is the second roof collapse incident on Main Street in Aberdeen with the old Van Slyke Building to the north of Dacotah Bank completely collapsing last Friday.
