The South Dakota Division of Criminal Investigation has released its report about an officer involved shooting of a man involved in a shooting in July. According to authorities, the shooting occurred July 13th or 14th in Sioux Falls and the suspect in this case suffered non life threatening injuries. The suspect was on parole at the time of the incident and allegedly stole a firearm from a homeowner and pointed it at officers. In the end, the Division of Criminal investigation concluded the officer was justified in using lethal force after going over evidence including witness statements, body cam footage, dashboard cameras and more.
