Early voting will begin this week in South Dakota for the 2024 general election. Voters can begin voting as early as September 20th up to November 4th with the actual election day being Tuesday Nov. 4th. The deadline to register to vote is Monday Oct. 21st. On the ballot this year other than local state house and senate races includes the Presidential race and several ballot questions. Questions pertaining to abortion, repealing grocery taxes, legalizing recreational marijuana, work requirements for medicaid, open primaries and more.
