Experts on Wall Street now say the stock market has exited a bear market and is back to a bull market. The S&P 500 rallied Thursday, marking a 20 percent surge since its most recent low back on October 12th 2022. Experts claim that brings an end to the bear market that began in January of 2022. A Bear Market is generally considered a sustained stretch when investment prices consistently fall, vs. a Bull Market where the market sustains a stretch of time where investment prices are rising. According to CNN markets have likely gained steam after congress brought an end to the debt ceiling crisis and optimism the Federal reserves will pause insurance rate hikes at its June meeting.
