Firefighters respond to fire in Clark, SD over the weekend

Firefighters were on the scene in Clark this past weekend fighting a fire in the north part of town. According to the Clark Police Department, the fire occurred in the 1000 block of North Commercial Street just before 3:00 p.m. Saturday. Upon arrival crews were met with heavy smoke and flames coming from a residential property. The fire was put out, but the home is considered a total loss. No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
