(Kelol.com – Sioux Falls, SD) A suspect is in custody following an officer involved shooting in Sioux Falls.
The situation unfolded when a homeowner was threatened with a gun after confronting someone who was rummaging through their vehicle.
Hours later, police caught up with the suspect who then took off from officers on foot.

The suspect, 35-year-old Sean Kilbourne, was treated for his injuries before being released back to police.
He’s charged with Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon and a parole violation with additional charges likely.
The case is now being handled by the state Division of Criminal Investigation.
