First responders in Grant County rescued a driver Wednesday who became stuck after trying to drive through a flooded roadway. According to Grant County Emergency management, Millbank and Big Stone City Fire and Rescue were dispatched in the evening hours Wednesday for a car surrounded by water with an occupant inside. Rising water levels due to snow melt has left some roads flooded. The team made entry into the water with an inflatable boat and rescued the occupant. Emergency Management went on to remind residents to avoid driving your vehicle through flooded roadways because you never know just how deep the water is.
