Former Aberdeen Christian head basketball coach David Rohrbach resigns as head coach in Brookings

Former Aberdeen Christian head boys basketball coach David Rohrbach has resigned as the head coach of the Brookings high school boys basketball team. The school made the announcement in a press-release. According to the release, Rohrbach cited personal reasons for his departure. Rohrbach spent one season as the head coach in Brookings, where he lead the Bobcats to a 3-17 record. Before that he spent eight seasons as the athletic director at Aberdeen Christian, and seven seasons as the Aberdeen Christian Knights boys basketball coach. He lead the Knights to three straight state tournament births in 2020, 2021 and 2022.
