Former Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Henry Ruggs III sentenced to 3 to 10 years in prison for DUI death

Former Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Henry Ruggs III has been sentenced to 3 to 10 years in prison for a fatal drunk driving incident. Ruggs was intoxicated behind the wheel in November of 2021 when was in an accident in Las Vegas that killed a woman and her dog. Ruggs will be eligible for early release after three years. Ruggs is 24 years old and was selected by the Raiders in the first round, 12^th overall in the 2020 NFL draft out of Alabama. He played 50 career games scoring four touchdowns in that time.
