Former Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Henry Ruggs III sentenced to 3 to 10 years in prison for DUI death

Former Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Henry Ruggs III has been sentenced to 3 to 10 years in prison for a fatal drunk driving incident. Ruggs was intoxicated behind the wheel in November of 2021 when was in an accident in Las Vegas that killed a woman and her dog. Ruggs will be eligible for early release after three years. Ruggs is 24 years old and was selected by the Raiders in the first round, 12th overall in the 2020 NFL draft out of Alabama. He played 50 career games scoring four touchdowns in that time.
