Former Pierre Governor Lincoln Kienholz has been named the National High School Boys Athlete of the Year by USA Today. Kienholz helped lead Pierre TF Riggs to six straight 11AA titles, including breaking records in the process. He threw for 46 touchdowns and over 3,400 yards in that time, becoming the state’s all-time leading passer. Kienholz has chosen to continue his football career in college, signing with Ohio State.
