Former South Dakota State women’s basketball star Myah Selland has signed a professional basketball contract with BAXI Ferrol in Spain. Selland went undrafted in the WNBA after the 2022-23 season, but signed as a free agent with the Minnesota Lynx. From there she failed to make the team, but now will play professional overseas. Selland was the Summit League Player of the year her final season and led her team to a win in the NCAA tournament. She is a Sanborn Central/Woonsocket alum and was miss basketball South Dakota and Gatorade player of the year while in high school.
